

Central Wisconsin Worksite Wellness Network (CWWWN)
The Worksite Wellness Committee, a workgroup of Portage County CAN, formed the Central Wisconsin Worksite Wellness Network (CWWWN) to connect area businesses and organizations interested in enhancing their worksite wellness programs. The CWWWN offers a forum for swapping resources, sharing ideas, and asking for support related to worksite wellness.
CWWWN welcomes all residents and workers in Central Wisconsin to participate in its quarterly meetings and events. Watch this site for online registration details.
National Wellness Institute
Did you know the National Wellness Institute (NWI), a non-profit offering wellness and health promotion resources for wellness professionals since 1977, is headquartered in Stevens Point? Portage County 2009 Worksite Wellness Survey
The Portage County Can coalition in partnership with St.Norbert College Survey Center conducted a countywide survey of 127 employers regarding worksite wellness. the telephone survey was conducted in April 2009 in a representative sample (95% confidence level) of county employees with 20 or more employers.
